Ramadan is a month of mercy, generosity, and shared blessings. For many families in Haiti, however, even a simple meal to break their fast is not guaranteed.
This Ramadan, Hikmah Relief is hosting daily Suhoor and Iftar programs in two locations:
At each location, over 75 people are served every single day. Orphans. Students. Families. Community members. All gathering to break their fast together with nutritious, wholesome meals.
For many, this is the most reliable meal they will have that day.
Whoever provides food for a fasting person to break his fast will have a reward like theirs, without that detracting from the fasting person’s reward in the slightest.
SubhanAllah. Every fast they complete. Every du’a they make at iftar. Every prayer they stand for at night.
At Madinah Orphanage and Masjid Shaheed, more than 75 people at each location gather daily for Suhoor and Iftar. Orphans, students, and families sit together to begin and break their fast with nutritious meals prepared with care and dignity.
For $200 per location per day, you can sponsor both Suhoor and Iftar at one site. That means:
